With the highlight from our party and our country, Adult Higher Education (AHE) in china, through the past decades' efforts, has achieved further developments by the 1980s& 1990s. The developments are displayed not only in the considerable specialties, but in the various ways of running schools and in the annually increasing numbers of the enrolled students and AHE colleges, universities. As a branch of the whole educational system, the AHE is most directly connected to society. It is vital and irreplaceable to social progress. Though our economic restructuring goes further, a series of problems are still existing in the present AHE, such as in the Curriculum system, Curriculum arrangement, and in the teaching materials, which restrict development of education in minority regions and development of west regions in china. Those new scientific and technological achievements and social progress will be continually enriched into teaching.
