Research On Impact Of Flood On Psychology And Behavior Of Victims And Social Support

The paper chooses the dyke burst of Jiujiang Zhoutou village in flood of Yangtze River in 1998 as a study case, and combines the study of psychology and social behavior of flood victims and the research of social support system of disaster victims. On the basis of a full understanding of the impact of the dyke burst on victims' psychology and behavior in three different periods of the disaster - flood-stricken period, recovery period and normal life period, the paper analyzes the relation between the recovery of psychology and behavior and social support system as well as the relevant factors that affect the efficient performance of social support system.Meanwhile the paper describes and analyzes the psychology and behavior of victims group in this disaster case, accumulates the original material for disaster sociology in china, and provides a reference for further research in this field.
