Study On Present Physical Training Situation And Countermeasures For Middle-school And Primary School In Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture

On the basis of some relevant references, investigations,questionnaire, mathematical statistics,and informations from internet ,we collect and analyse the informations on implementation of the reformation of national elementary education. In September 2000, the Government of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture began to conduct the idea of ' Health is No.l', and worked out a series of measurs such as Outlines for P.E. And Health Education', Standard For P.E. (Grade 1-6 ) And P.E. & Health(Grade 7-12)', and Students' Physique Standard '. Some of Middle-shools and Primary Schools in Yanji City have carried out the above standards as experimental schools to Grade One students since September 2000.In September 2003, these methods were taken by all the Middle-schools and Primary Schools in Yanbian Prefecture. An investigation has been made among the experimental schools and others.The results show the present physical training situation among schools , and analyse the disadvantages of the present Outlines for P.E. course and advantages as well as problems of the ' P.E. & Health ' Standard . A few new ideas has been made out such as: renew the P.E. opinons of the teachers, follow the idea of Health is No.1'.change the teaching programme , take account of region differences to set up a series of teaching programme with local charactor, enforce exchanging programme to make it more flexible, create profect examination systerm,and encourage teachers' continuing education. So it is important to analyse the experimental results on the new standards. In the future , we should promote the changing opinons on physical training, speed up the reformation on physical training inschools, enrich the funny games for students between the classes, and add physical training and health course including some interesting items.local triditional sports and sanatation acknowledged new RE. text book which more likely approaches local special situation and an excecution plan should be made out as soon as possible. Measures should be taken such as reformation of examination system, examining ways and items , to encourage the students to attend various kinds sports actively, raise their health condition and release their pressure.Add some training course for P.E.teachers and give them more continuing training course, to set up a large group of qualified P.E. teachers.Through the investigation and analysis, it may be useful for the ' P.E. & Health ' Standard on the future physical training course during the compulsory education period in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture for your reference, and it may lay a therotical foundation for enhancing the development of physical training and reformation on elementary education of minority nationality regions in western part of China.
