| Based on"Full Time Compulsory Education——Standard of Music Course", this paper means to construct the structure of music teachers' qualities that fit it. It can give some reasonable advice for the music education in high school and the further education of music teachers on the job. The paper is going to analyze the present situation of music teachers in Korean junior and middle schools of Yanbian area and discuss the problems still existed in the structure of the music teachers' qualities. Therefore, it can provide some proof to consult for the quality construction of the music teachers in Korean junior and middle school of Yanbian area, the reform of music education in high school and the healthy development of music education in this area.In order to analyze the situation objectively and impartially, this paper mainly carries out the research though questionnaire, which are handed to the students, music lecturers and researchers and leaders in the 28 junior and middle schools in Yanbian area. There are 83 questionnaires for teachers and 280 for the students. This inquiry is mainly taken from four aspects: 1) the educational background level of the music teachers. 2) The music teachers' morality and self-cultivation. 3) The knowledge and ability possessed and utilized by the music teachers. 4) The music teachers' methodology and their concept of educating and teaching music, while the result shows that:1. The music teachers' rate of reaching standard on educational background is high.2. Most of the music teachers have good morality and self-cultivation.3. Their concept of music education and teaching should be much clearer and highly improved.4. Their teaching content and methodology are out-dated.5. The knowledge structure of the music teachers is unbalanced.6. Their ability structure is to be further advanced.7. There is an urgent demand for music teachers to do better on multi-media lecturing, dances and plays creating and other aspects.8. The music teachers commonly respond to the lack of information, music equipments and other problems. |
