From psychology we know that non-intellectual factors as well as intellectual ones have great effect on students themselves in the process of receiving education.They are the two sides of one thing and related closely .In the course of studying intellectual factors.which help students absorb, digest, store, and change what has been leant,are the premise and foundation while non-intellectual factors are motive and driving force. For this reason, it will be important practice significance and theory significance to strengthen the healthy development of non-intellectual factors during the implementation of quality education. Geography,which is one of the basic subjects in schools.deals with the dirrect and vital relations between mankind and environmentSo to reinforce the training and perfecting of non-intelligence in the process of geography teaching plays a particular role^iot just improves geography but brings forth new ideas in the implementation of environment education. Since non-intellgence is such a complex system,being made up of several different branches such as dirrecting system,controlling system, driving system etc.special attention should be devoted to the process of educating students in accordance with their nature and acquired talent.and distingwishing features of this certain subjectas well. As has been known ,the process of geography studying has two relating aspects-----getting knowledge and practice under the dirrections of teachers.Laying great stress on integrating theory with practice is a credible way with great effect to foster and develop student's non-intellectual factors.that is,classroom educating,practising activities in the open air and the affect from the charm of teacher's manner and character are all effective and adopted ways.Herethis thesis demonstrates a fact that what non-intellectual factors practically means--to 96sample senior students the results are satisfatory and encouraging. So it is hoped that non-intelltual factors will be taken seriously in geography education as they can proved to be active,notive and encouraging factors.They would provide enough food and nutrition for students to help them achieve much more and make greater progess if close attention are paid to.
