On The Status Quo And The Countermeasure Of Sex Education Of Junior Middle School Students Of Lanzhou

Sex education, one aspect of the all-sided development of students (i.e. morality, intellect, physical culture, aesthetics, physical labor, mentality and sex), has been gradually attached more and more attention. Explorations and studies concerning this matter also provide us with scientific and theoretical basis and methods. With the development of the society the living status of people has been largely improved which lead to more requirements of people about living quality. If only either of the love, marriage and sexual life fails to be satisfactory, people will try out to improve it. Therefore, the problems in terms of sex have been mushrooming in society. What's more, this phenomenon has become an inevitable tendency both in China and in other countries of the world as well. At present, the teenagers are confronted with the Sino-western cultural impact and the influence of diverse ideas about sex. Thanks to the mass media, the evolvement of sex consciousness and ideas of teenagers have been exposed to more and more great influence. Now in the 20th century, the parents as well as the educators have directed their eyes on the proper sex education of the teenagers so as to cultivate their sound character and the healthy ideas about sex. Therefore, studies about sex education of teenagers have become a very important subject with realistic significance.Being deeply touched by the colorful inner world, the complex disputes of feelings, and the sex fault due to ignorance about sex of the teenagers, I, as an educator, have consciously acknowledged that many serious problems have resulted from the deficiency and the backwardness of sex education of the teenagers. Then to start from the reality and make some contributions to the sex education of the teenagers of our city have very naturally become my subject of study. Now the very urgent thing to do is to make some explorations and studies and get the first-hand statistics and materials so as to make sure that the sex education of our city has an object in view and suit the instruction to the students' level.My thesis is composed of five parts. They are the preface, introduction, study method, result and discussion, and the conclusion. The preface briefly makes a claim about the purpose and significance of the study. The introduction defines the sex education and makes a survey of the status quo of sex study both in the domestic andabroad. The third part is about the object of study and the method. In the result and discussion part very careful and detailed statistics and analysis have been made on the basis of questionnaires through the software SPSS 10.0 and get the very direct statistical data.
