Modern campus life was utilitarian in some senses. University students lost vital signs expressed by spirit. Pattern of moral education of Chinese tertiary institution conventionalized tradition of society-departmentalism, lacking spirit concern to life individuals. Centering on economy, updating construction brought moral education to verge. Weak normative education can't solve value hobble of university students. Effects of tool rationalism strengthen its practical orientation.However, the highest survival meaning of life didn't lie in material gains but leap from materiality forward spirituality. Reflection on moral education of Chinese tertiary institution from the height of constructing university students' spiritual homeland, provided a new angle of vision for settling value hobble of university students. On the moral subject's happiness, the paper designed a human spiritual homeland. By it we can cultivate perfect moral subject, bring university students to virtuous life. In order to realize the dock of moral education and spiritual homeland, university students' subjective motility must be cultivated, having life education, citizenship education and faith education, using the experience of advanced pattern of foreign moral education and making it nationalized.
