Social risks lie in any society and easily outbreak on some social groups whose sustaining capability, which is just as barrel effect in economics, outflow of water depends on the shortest one of the barrel. Since the 70s of 20th century, reform of market economy makes our country acquire huge achievements. However, along with development of reform, social structure evolvement results in severe social differentiation, the phenomenon of social vulnerable group is apparent, especially under the background of globalization. At the present, it's estimated that the number of social vulnerable group is about 180 million, which is equal to 11 percent to 14 percent of the national total population. The scale and ratio of social vulnerable group has been a severe issue which badly impacts on our social stability and social development, which needs more concerns.Our party and government regard survival and security of social vulnerable group as its basic job. Premier zhu Rongji emphasized and advocated that social vulnerable group should obtain employment support. Some scholars advanced that equity should be regarded as important thinking of our party, which is an insightful idea. Only so, our society can acquire rational social structures and majority of the national can benefit from the reform and social development, which make the reform gain more social support. Based on these ideas, we should think over institution limitations at the present, and innovate social support of social vulnerable group, which can provide social vulnerable group with survival conditions and dignityguarantee.Social support theory engendered in the 70s of 20th century, which based on a thought that support demand is an instinctive welfare derived from genes of human beings, and its object is social factors of psychological disorder that social diagnose adopted, which elaborated influences that mutuality, social network and social environments impact on psychological frustration and deprivation. Social support can alleviate social vulnerable group's psychological reflex, state of nervosity and improve their social adaptation. The experts have attained great achievements of social support of social vulnerable group, which can promote settlement of this social issue. However, along with marketability and globalization in our country, practice challenges the theory, and some researches haven't adopted demands of new conditions, for examples, some researches concentrated on the theory and lacked researches on practice and procedures, which apparently influenced efficient implementation. And so on.Based on pressing reality of practice and theory, the article chooses Research on Social Support of Social Vulnerable Group as its thesis, which tries to explore value foundation and rational orientation of social support of social vulnerable group and establish a symbiosis, equal social support system to realize survival guarantee and personal dignity.The article is divided into five sections:Chapter one, preface. It includes research backgrounds, significance, some definitions, main ideas, basic framework and research methods.Chapter two, theory evaluation and innovation. The article dates back to the evolvement of social support theory of social vulnerable group and evaluates it in a rational way. The article deems that the theory has some limitations. Therefore, absorbing the achievements in the past, the article advances new theoretical framework, namely community as its base, government as its principal part, opportunity and capability as its core.Chapter three, positive analysis of social vulnerable group.
