A Research Of Eliminate The Vulnerable Situation Of The Ant-tribe From The Visual Angle Of Social Work

The so-called Ant-Tribe is the Fourth Largest Vulnerable Groupnewly appeared in China, and under the background of socialtransformation it has been coming into being. As a vulnerable group, ithas its own uniqueness as well as some common characters with theother vulnerable groups. This study will mainly discuss and analyze itsperformance and real situation as a vulnerable group from the threedimensions of economic, political, and cultural. In terms of interest toresearch the Ant-Tribe, the first problem they face is the poverty ineconomic absolutely. From the perspective of their own strength, theyare impossible to melt into the city now and excluded from the citysystem, so their voice is neglected and they do not have any politicalpower. Moreover, the greatest threaten for them is that they cannotlocate themselves and not know where is their value, compared to thedilemma of economic distress and political powerlessness. When facedwith an embarrassed life, the Ant-Tribe would be low in confidenceand negative them from the perspective of psychology, which willcause them in a more vulnerable position. Therefore, the factor ofcultural is also the key point in this research besides factors ofeconomic and political. On the specific research method, we will takethe pattern of qualitative research in this study so we will mainly usethe method of qualitative research, but also we won’t refuse the methodof quantity research and will combine the method of qualitative research and quantity research together in the specific process of study.On the specific manners of writing, first we will review the presentsituation in academia and discuss the background of the vulnerablesituation of the Ant-Tribe. Next we will discuss and analyze the itsperformance and real situation as a vulnerable group from the threedimensions of economic, political, and cultural. we will discuss andanalyze how to use social work method to help the Ant-Tribe from theperspective of social work. However, there are limitations about socialwork in helping the" ant tribe" to eliminate the vulnerable situation.Thinking about more factors comprehensively, the best way to helpthe" ant tribe" to eliminate the vulnerable situation is governmentintervention and social efforts together.
