Establishing system effective primary school teachers is essencial in order ro implement higher education policy and thus ensure the successful native development of our future generations. As a consequence, research into the qualities of effective primary school teachers is a topic that is relevant and necessary. However, most of the recent reseach focusing on primary school reachers has been somewhat anecdotal in native and lacking in sufficient scientific rigour. This present paper will attempt to address this shortcoming by examining the qualities of effective reachers via, the application of a range of practical reseach methodologies such as questionnaires and interviews, the ultimate goal being to better inform current practice in the Dalian region. The research presented 4 key findings:teachers should be both highly principled and dynamic ; teachers should have a positive altitude both towards China and towards teaching; teachers should have a broad knowledge of education and not just be restricted to their own specific subject area.
