The lack of university students' subjectivity in instruction management is presently the important cause that prevents students from giving full play to the subjectivity in their studies. Through developing students' management subjectivity and leading them to participate in instruction management actively, we can optimize the instruction environment beneficially to promote the subjectivity in their studies. The students' participation in instruction management includes six links: understanding, election, feedback, consultation, evaluation, and policy—making, with election, consultation, and evaluation as base. The basic links constitute a pattern of students' participation in instruction management, which is called the pattern ECE.The Pattern ECE, with students' participation as an important approach to management, is a pattern built by university instruction managers to achieve instruction management goals. With subjectivity instruction theory as guiding theology, this pattern emphasizes the construction and operation of driving and security mechanisms, and its execution may have some basic requirements: transforming educational ideas, deepening the reform of curriculum and improvement of teachers, strengthening the construction of instruction laboratories and bettering instruction assessment system.
