STSE is the abbreviation of Science, Technology, Society and Environment, a combinedinteractive system of science, technology, society and environment evolving in the process ofhuman intelligence and its creature, a series of completely new summation shown in the Earthsystem with the high development of science and technology, and an integrative crosssubject. Before World War II, people thought the advance of science and technology necessarilyresulted in the social development. But as a matter of face, after World War II, the fiercedevelopment of science and technology caused a series of social problems. For example, theexploitation of nuclear energy led to nuclear pollution; the genetic engineering brought theethics problem; industry's development introduced environmental pollution. Therefore,people have to rescan the relationship between science and technology and mankind society,even the ecosystem in which man exists, which inspires the problem of STSE. STSE education is to guide people to understand the complex relation between Science,Technology, Society and Environment in modern times, which guarantees the long-termdevelopment in human civilization. On the base of studying a large quantity of concerning data at home and abroad, thisthesis proceeds with the rising of STSE and the practice of STSE, meantime it analyses thesignificance and possibilities of carrying out STSE education in physics teaching practice inmiddle school. It introduces the permeation of STSE education by giving the writer's "Two,Three, Three" mode in classroom teaching, which aims at cultivating the student's researchmethod, spirit and attitude, making the students clearly understand the relation betweenScience, Technology, Society and Environment and form scientific value, so as to promote thedevelopment of Science, Technology and Society continuously and the harmoniousdevelopment of humans and nature. "Our responsibility and occupation honor lead us to give a hint to the students aboutScience, Technology and Society." Thus, we can create for society the citizens of a newgeneration, having science spirit, the consciousness for creativity and full of sense of socialresponsibility.
