The physics curriculum standard of senior high school(2017 Edition)proposes to cultivate students’ core quality of physics,in which "scientific attitude and responsibility" clearly requires to cultivate students’ STSE concept.STSE is an integrated concept of science,engineering,society and environment.The teaching purpose of STSE is to cultivate students’ social practice ability and innovation ability,so that students can not only master scientific knowledge,but also have a correct attitude towards environmental problems.At present,the research on STSE concept mainly focuses on the design of classroom teaching,and there are still deficiencies in the research on how to carry out STSE teaching in experimental class.Based on the STSE concept,this thesis designs and studies the physics expansion experimental class.The thesis mainly includes the following parts:The first part is the introduction.By reading the literature,we can understand the research background and research status of STSE concept at home and abroad,analyze the main ways of integrating STSE concept into the current physics classroom,learn from it,and find the lack of research.Understand what innovations have been made in the current high school physics experiment and get inspiration from it.Within the scope of compulsory one of the people’s Education Edition,achieve the teaching purpose by innovating the actual experiment and designing the physics experiment expansion course of STSE concept.The second part is the definition of relevant concepts and the theoretical basis of STSE concept teaching.This thesis explains the specific meanings of science,engineering,society and environment respectively,and analyzes the necessity of physical experiment for students’ knowledge growth and the necessity of integrating STSE educational concept into teaching from the perspective of psychology and educational psychology.The third part is the investigation of the current situation of physics experiment teaching.This thesis investigates the students’ interest in physics learning and their attitude towards experimental teaching in three parallel classes of senior one in a middle school in Shouguang City.The survey at the beginning of the semester shows that 18.92% of the students are interested in physics learning and 71.62% of the students like physics experimental class.It can be seen that although students are not very interested in physics learning,they like physics experiment very much.This thesis investigates 78 physics teachers’ understanding of STSE education concept and the teaching of physics experiment course in Weifang.Among them,57.69% of the teachers do not understand the specific meaning of STSE,of which 97.44% of the teachers think that experimental courses should be opened frequently,but only 21.76% of the teachers often give experimental courses to students,indicating that it is imperative to integrate STSE concept into physics experiment course.The fourth part is the innovation of physical experiment.This thesis chooses to conduct in-depth research on the compulsory one textbook of the people’s Education Edition.Finally,from the knowledge system of the second half,four sections of "elasticity","synthesis and decomposition of force","experiment on the relationship between acceleration and force and mass","overweight and weightlessness" are selected.The experiments of the first three sections are innovated by self-made teaching aids,and the contents of "overweight and weightlessness" are innovated by improving experimental methods.And explore the teaching method of integrating the concept of STSE into the experimental class.The fifth part is the teaching design and implementation.Without delaying the normal progress of physics teaching,we should carry out the teaching of experimental expansion course by means of continuous class system and so on.The sixth part is the research conclusion and summary.Post test the students’ interest in physics learning by means of questionnaire;Then compare the midterm examination results,final examination results and STSE test results of the experimental class and the control class to test whether the teaching practice has a certain effect.The survey results show that after the practice of experimental expansion course based on STSE education concept,the number of students interested in physics learning in the three classes is 41.89% more than that at the beginning of school.The average score of the two classes in the final examination is only close to 2.2.However,the average score of STSE test in the experimental class is9.46 points higher than that in the control class.Through the investigation,it is found that the students in the three classes who have accepted the experimental innovation teaching under the STSE concept have significantly higher enthusiasm and curiosity for life than the students in other classes.140 people felt that the experimental class could exercise their scientific inquiry ability,135 people felt that the experimental class could cultivate their scientific thinking,102 people felt that the process of doing the experiment could contribute to the formation of physical concepts,and 120 people felt that their attitude towards science had changed and improved to a certain extent.It can be seen that after teaching practice,students’ academic performance,core literacy of physics,understanding of STSE concept and problem solving of STSE concept have made great progress and improvement.It is hoped that the research and teaching practice of this thesis can bring different horizons and methods to some experimental teaching of physics compulsory in senior high school.It is also hoped that STSE education concept can be integrated into all aspects of Physics Teaching in senior high school,open students’ curiosity about life and make students full of enthusiasm and vitality for life.Let the students make contributions to the country and realize their own values with a kind and sincere heart and a keen and smart mind.
