The female-role awareness refers to the total cognition that the females are playing andwill play a role by themselves, which is formed in the course of female socialization. Thesenior middle school phase is not a negligible period of the course of female socialization.The study of the female-role awareness of the high school students not only benefits the resultof the schoolwork, but also offers a more suitable female-role mode for female to growhealthily and freely. This paper, which adopts the method of the practice teaching, tries topromote the further and universal improvement of the female-role awareness, through sortingout and exploring the female-role in the history curriculum. Therefore, this study is significantboth in theory and reality. It is composed of four parts. Chapter 1 firstly tries to expatiate the content of the female-role awareness. Then basedon the current condition of the female role awareness and its cause of formation, this paperrecommends the aim and current significance and demonstrates the necessity in thedevelopment of the female role awareness. Chapter 2 mainly introduces relational theory to the female role awareness: Theory ofgender indiscrimination in wisdom. Theory of the female self-fulfillment. Theory of the socialroles. It argues the possibility of the development of the female role. Chapter 3 reverts the "uglified" female to its historical true, objectively sees female itsnegative side and the defined negative side from the standpoint of physics female, fulfillsfemale to explore the female materials in the textbooks, consciously make up the femalematerials as an extended curriculum and probe into the relationship with the development ofthe female role awareness. Chapter 4 lays special emphasis on the development of the female role awareness inhistory teaching materials, in which some female roles are added , the development of theirawareness is paid attention to in teaching idea and is embodied in teaching method. This paper can make up the current lack of the female role awareness by exploring thefemale materials in history teaching materials, which will be of some reference value tohistory curriculum reform and teaching practice in senior middle school.
