At present, it is hot spot in medicine, biology and sports fields that how to improve the ability of learning and remember. Lots of materials demonstrate that sports would improve the function of brain and lead to appropriate changes in morphology of nerve cell. Internal scholars have proved that Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge as trad. Ch. Medicine in common use can not only promote the ability of normal Rats' learning and remember, but improve remember obstacle of rats that have got electric shock. After planning the pattern of training on rats, this research studies the influence of medium intensity sports training on rats in growing period and the promotion of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge on it, by using research methods of behavioral science, morphology and biochemistry.All the rats are randomly divided Into five groups: sedentary group, training group, medicine group, training and medicine group, distilled water group. Sedentary group: normal mode of life in the cages. Training load refer to the method of Bedford . Training group, training and medicine group received one-week training, increasing speed from 12m/min to 18m/min, increasing time from lOmin to 30min.From the second week, training speed and time are gradually added. After 8 weeks training, step down test which is also called onetime passive evade conditioned reflex test is adopted to test the ability of the rats' learning and remember. Then randomly take out 5 rats every group, adopt fast Golgi dye, count the number of dendritic spires of pyramidal cells in cerebral cortex sensory area and hippocampus CA3 areas. Randomly take out 8 rats every group, cut off the rats' heads and get the brains quickly, shell out the cerebral cortex, then use reagent cases test the contents of MDA, SOD, GSH and NO.The experiment shows:1) 8 weeks, increasing load, medium intensity training has no effect on the rats' weights.2) Appropriate sports training may lengthen latent period (SDL and EL) and decrease the frequency of error in step down test.3) Among the groups, the number of dendritic spires of pyramidal cells in cerebral cortex sensory area has obvious position difference on dendritic spires: there are none of obvious difference among the groups on top dendritic spires; the number of bottom dendritic spires of training and medicine group exceed that of sedentary group; training group, medicine group, training and medicine group exceed sedentary group and distilled water group on side dendritic spires. Besides, the number of side dendritic spires of training and medicine group also exceed that of training group or medicine group.4) Concerning the number of top dendritic spires pyramidal cells in hippocampus CA3 areas, training group and medicine group exceed sedentary group apparently; training and medicine group also exceed the two groups.5) Training and medicine group, training group and medicine group exceed sedentary group on contents of SOD and GSH, inferior on content of MDA. Besides, Training and medicine group is superior than training group and medicine group on contents of SOD and GSH, inferior on content of MDA.6) Appropriate sports training can promote the content of NO in cerebral cortex sensory area, but taking Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge has not influence on it.We have drawn the following conclusions: Medium intensity sports training and taking Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge can improve the results of step down test, stimulate the number of dendritic spires of pyramidal cells in cerebral cortex sensory area and hippocampus CA3 areas, promote the contents of SOD and GSH in cerebral cortex sensory area added, reduce the contents of MDA, prevent brain from becoming senile. Its effect is better than simple training or taking Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge.
