| The course standard of maths for Senior School published in 2003, offers the content on statistics and probability, which improves a lot, compared with the former and meanwhile reveals the basic notion of the reform of course.First of all, the thesis analyzes the basic notion, principle, and education value of the implementation of the content of probability and statistics in the new course.Secondly, a review has been made of some difficulty and problems both in intercalating some pertinent content of probability and statistics and in carrying out them in senior middle school since the foundation of PRC. Then an analysis is made of the content and teaching status quo in the present Maths Curriculum (the experimental edition) of the common senior middle school at home and abroad.Thirdly, the thesis concentrates the amelioration on the section of probability and statistics in the new course standard of maths for senior middle school. It is first characterized by its simplification and renovation of the old ones with an emphasis on its essence; second by its flexibility and readability; and third by its stress on methods and thinking.The last part is to put forwards some teaching strategies for the implementation in accordance with the content of probability and statistics in the new maths course. |
