Interest plays an important role in inspiring and keeping students to study, it is an important fact for students to remain consciousness and enthusiasm in learning. Inspiring students sport interest and cultivating the behavior of exercising for life are the basic thought of course design in physical education and health. It is an important title for how to inspire students sport interest in PE. The research is guided by interest theory which one of the three motivation theory, we editing the table design of middle school students situational interest and examining the reliability and the validity. The research was main to review the students situational interest form the view of task design in PE. Research the relation of situational interest, personal interest and physical skill levels .last to investigate the difference of grade levels and gender in situational interest.In this study, a repeated measure research design was used. Three grades middle school students form Yi Zheng(N=158) was divided into four classes(one of the mixed classes). The students evaluated situational interest of four learning tasks with different cognitive and physical demands after having experienced the tasks in their physical education classes. After the research the students was tested the sport skill. Analyzed data was collected after the research at last. The research showed:(1) As the important factor to inspire the students learning motivation, situational interest varied across different learning tasks. Task design in PE is a function of inspiring students situational interest in PE.(2) Situational interest primarily was influenced by the extent of cognitive demand a learning task provide. Once a learning task demands relatively high cognitive engagement, it is likely to be perceived as interesting, attention and enjoyable regardless of the intensity of physical involvement task demand.(3) Because of the eleven-plus the physical education in class was taken into physicaltraining in grade. Many courses were not taught to the students. The situational interest does not decline with age in school just not like the westward. In the three grades the highest situational interest is grade three, next is grade one and grade two.(4) Not like the research of the westward, gender influence on interest has not been observed in the soccer learning research.(5) Situational interest is highly received when the task is form a content area consistent with the students' personal interest.(6) Physical skill levels is highly received when the task is form a content area consistent with the students' personal interest.(7) Personal interest has not a correlation with Physical skill levels...
