As an important part of middle school physical education,the middle and long distance running project is the key teaching content of middle school physical education curriculum,and plays an important role in promoting the physical and mental development of young people.The "Measures for the Implementation of Sports Qualification Standards for Middle School Students" and "National Physical Exercise Standards" promulgated by the state also specify middle and long-distance running as a test item of endurance in the physical fitness test of students.However,because the middle and long distance running event belongs to the physical fitness-led endurance event group,it is a periodic sports event with a single action structure.Its exercise form is single and the learning process is boring.The project is carried out in the middle school physical education classroom.Therefore,how to improve the teaching method of middle and long-distance running and guide the junior high school students to love middle-distance running is a topic worthy of discussion.The situational teaching method is that teachers use reasonable teaching methods according to the teaching objectives to create classroom situations based on the teaching content and conform to the students' cognitive level and psychological characteristics during the classroom teaching process,so as to impart subject knowledge and mobilize students to learn Interest,a teaching method to improve student learning efficiency.Since the situational teaching method was introduced to China in the early 20 th century,it has been used in many subjects such as language and mathematics and achieved good results,but it is rarely used in physical education.This article mainly uses literature data method,expert survey method,questionnaire survey method,teaching experiment method,mathematical statistics method,and comparative analysis method.Based on the situational teaching method,combined with the characteristics of the middle and long-distance running project,it is located in the Xinhuadu Academy in Changsha City.The school randomly selects two parallel classes in the first grade of junior high as the experimental objects.The experimental class adopts the situational teaching method,and the control class adopts the traditional teaching method.In the teaching process,the two classes are taught middle and long distance running through the same teacher,teaching content,teaching time and teaching objectives,and the influence of the situational teaching method on the learning interest of middle and long distance running of junior high school students is explored.I hope to obtain practical and theoretical research results,and provide practical reference value for middle and long-distance running teaching.The research conclusions are as follows:1.Situational teaching method is more effective than traditional teaching method to improve the active interest of middle and long-distance running learning of junior high school students.2.The situational teaching method is more effective than the traditional teaching method to change the negative attitude of middle and long-distance running learning of junior high school students and reduce the negative interest in learning the middle and long-distance running.3.Situational teaching method is more effective than traditional teaching method to promote junior high school students to participate in middle and long distance running learning.4.The situational teaching method is more effective than the traditional teaching method to promote the independent exploration of middle and long-distance running learning by junior high school students.5.Situational teaching method is more effective than traditional teaching method to improve the independent demand of junior high school students for the theoretical knowledge of middle and long distance running.6.The situational teaching method is more effective than the traditional teaching method to improve the value cognition of middle and long-distance running learning for junior high school students.
