Theoretical Study And Practice On "Process And Method" Goal In Geography Curriculum

At the turn of the century, the basic educational reform of our country has made a breakthrough, of which the most remarkable sign is that every subject has drafted the new curriculum standard, in order to replace the already existing syllabus. Compares with the original syllabus, the new curriculum standard has changed profoundly from such respects as curriculum idea, curriculum goal , curriculum content ,etc. Under this brand-new background this dissertation selected the curriculum goal part in the geographical curriculum standard, and carried on comprehensive research to "process and method" goal in the three dimensional goal, which is reflected in the following respects concretely:1, It has announced the era background and meaning of this research.2, It has explored the theoretical foundation of "process and method" goal, the relation of "process and method " and "knowledge and skill" , "emotion attitude, values theoretically", and dissected the connotation , position , importance of "process and method" goal.3, It has made comparative analysis about the "process and method" goal of national geographical curriculum standard in different countries all around the world. It has also expounded the embodiment and the infiltration of "process and method" goal in the syllabuses in different periods of our country.4, It has discussed how to adopt practicable measures to implement "course and method" goal in carrying out the geographical curriculum standard.The emphasis of this dissertation lies in the fact that it points out the disadvantages of the "process and method" goal in the new curriculum standard and revises its content after the analysis in the light of the principle laid down on the basis of curriculum goal; and it puts forward corresponding measures as well on how geographical teaching practice in the middle school implement "process and...
