In recent years, British Basic Education gradually have lost its advantages in the international education competition. In 2014, according to its domestic political and economic development needs and international geography curriculum reform trends, the British Ministry of Education released a new geography curriculum standard of their country. The changes in times, the economic development and the political policy decisions require its geography curriculum objectives to make the corresponding changes, which will better promote the development of its geography subjective Since the United Kingdom issued a unified national curriculum in 1988, the British National Geographic course has been modified several times. And its curriculum objectives have undergone several changes in the course changing process. Studying the British geography curriculum reform background, the reform of geography curriculum goal and content, the comparative analysis before and after the reform of geography curriculum goal, and the evaluation on the reform of curriculum objectives, can effectively help us to have a better understanding of the changes in the development of British geography curriculum goals and the principles of evolution. From the changing of the British curriculum reform target, we will learn from the failure lessens and the successful experience so as to better serve our geography curriculum reform and the written geography course materials.This pater has studied the National Geography text of the British geography curriculum goal in the version of edition 1991, edition 1995, edition 2000, edition 2008 and edition 2014 and has done much deep analysis. What’s more, it has focused on the changes in the curriculum goal, and mainly included the following several parts:The first part is the introduction, including the questions, the significance of the topic, the situation at home and abroad, the research methods and ideas.The second part is the British national geography curriculum goals in 1991, including comparison of British National Geography Curriculum before and after the 1991 British geography curriculum reform background, the 1991 British national geography curriculum content, the 1991 British national geography curriculum goal evaluation and comparison analysis.The third part is the 1995 National Geographic curriculum objectives, including comparison of British geography courses before and after the 1995 British geography curriculum reform background, the 1995 British national geography curriculum content, the 1995 National Geographic curriculum goal evaluation and comparison analysis.The fourth part is the 2000 British geography curriculum goals, including comparison of British geography courses before and after the 2000 British geography curriculum reform background, the 2000 British national geography curriculum content, the 2000 National Geographic curriculum evaluation and comparison analysis.The fifth part is the 2008 National Geographic curriculum objectives, mainly including the analysis of geography curriculum reform background, the 2008 the British national geography curriculum content and evaluation, the 2008 the British national geography curriculum goals of geography curriculum reform goal and comparison analysis.The sixth part is the 2014 British geography curriculum goals, including the 2014 geography curriculum reform background, the 2014 British national geography curriculum content, the 2014 British national geography curriculum goal evaluation, the comparison analysis before and after reform of geography curriculum targetThe seventh part is the conclusion, including the innovations and deficiencies of this paper.
