A Study On Middle School Teathers' Job Burnout, Job Stress, Job Satisfaction And Their Relationship

The research in the way of inventory study the job stress, job burnout and job satisfaction about the senior middle school teachers of the self government fre fecture of tujia and miao minority nationalities in the west of hu bei provience. Instruments in the research are job stress inventory, Maslach Burnout Inventory(MBI)job satisfaction inventory. The research which the researcher himself measures hands out 825 questionares, and returns 750.the valid inventories are 706.the effective response rate is 85.6%.The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the general situation which middle school teachers feel the job stress, job burnout and job satisfaction or the demographic variables affect the teachers' job stress, job burnout and job satisfaction, to discuss the relationship among job stress,job burnout and job satisfaction, and to verify the reliability and validity about questionares. the conclusions of the research are:1.The study find that the level of middle school teachers'job burnout is lower, the level of job stress is higher, and the level of job satisfaction is also lower.2.Only a few demographical variables effect some factors significantly(eg: length of service, the title of a technical).they mainly affect the level of job burnout, job stress and job satisfaction through two interactions or three interactions.3.Men teachers'depersonalization are higher than women's significantly and their personal accomplishments are much lower than women's4.Teachers who have worked from 6 to 10 years whose burnout are seriousest, job stress are heaviest and job satisfaction are lowest.5.The linear regression indicates that when the increase of job stress the job burnout adds,but when the increase of job stress the job satisfaction decreases. factors which affect the level of job burnout siganificantly are work...
