The credit system regards elective courses as the premise and measures the learning load of students with their credits, regarding obtaining the necessary and lowest credit as the graduating standard. It is a kind of teaching management system which adopts the diverse education specification and flexible management. It makes Dalian Women's Vocational Secondary Technical School just for object and gets some conclusions: 1. Practicing the credit system is the inevitable trend of the vocational education. 2. The important contents of credit system in secondary vocational schools are the followings: The system of courses is reconstructed with compulsory courses. The quantity and quality are measured by credit and achievement. The much more difficult courses have classified demand and evaluation in order to meet the needs of students with different learning foundation and needs for development. Flexible educational system is put into practice. The elective courses system and tutor system are established and perfected. 3. During the course of pushing on the credit system, secondary vocational school should follow the rules that suit measures to local conditions, teach students in accordance of their aptitude, teach students as guide them and advance in step. Moreover, we should take the following measures to strengthen macro-adjust; perfect relative policy; publicize the credit system widely; obtain the approval and support from the society, strengthen the inner guarantee of the secondary vocational school.
