Nowadays, most of the vocational schools focus on formal full-time education. Their concern of the scientific knowledge and professional theoretical knowledge cannot keep up with the globalization and diversification of social development. The future tendency of vocational schools should focus on both formal full-time education and vocational training. This paper analyzes the similarities and differences of formal full-time education and vocational training in vocational schools. It put forward the idea that vocational schools should not only focus on formal full-time education but should also pay attention to the vocational training. It concerns about the living and developing space of vocational schools and it's the social function of vocational schools. Moreover, it's the developing need of social economy. To start vocational training in vocational school will be the future trend of vocational education.Vocational schools have quite a lot of resources of excellent training teachers as well as experimental and practical equipments. They also have the advantages of good responsibilities and potentials of holding vocational training and can play a great role in social training. But the present situation is that these resources have not yet been full utilized. We should learn some advanced training forms and experiences of vocational education from other countries and think about how to deepen vocational training reform in our country and put forward some strategy on how to play the role of vocational training in vocational schools.In order to give a full play of vocational training, the vocational schools should pay attention to the training methods and give expression to its advantages such as time-saving and high-efficiency. The paper takes Hunan Advanced Technical College of Architecture as an example. It tries to learn some successful experience from this college and explores the diversity, applicability, efficiency and flexibility of the training form. For example, the college takes the vocational qualification certificate as a standard to held vocational training and evaluation. Training is a complicated systematic project. Evaluation is an important link in training process and it's the effective means of ensuring training quality. This paper aims at establish an evaluation system for vocational training and give a scientific and overall evaluation for vocational training in order to give a healthy and sustainable development of vocational training.
