Under the influence of knowledge economy, information and economic globalization, the course reform of basic education has been unprecedentedly valued. The new course reform, beginning in 2001, in the basic education has been an all-round one that is to just about meet the new century challenge and further advance our quality education, which will have a profound and lasting influence on the total basic education and the future of China.The new course reform aims to develop every student, initiate the educational system of comprehensive and harmonious development, and emphasize the basics, epochal character, practical applicability and comprehensivization of the course contents.It is required that teachers should transform their sense of education and develop a teaching process in which both teachers and students can teach and learn from each other, and get mutual development. In the way, teachers should lead students to know how to learn, how to cooperate with others, how to struggle for existence and how to conduct oneself in society so that they can adapt themselves to the future society demanding qualified personnel.Starting from the background, the goal, the teaching process and the demand for qualified teachers in the new course reform, the thesis analyses kinds of problems arising from the teaching process in the past, and proves in theory and explores in practice the teaching reform, from the general to the particular, by combining the theory with my own teaching practice. It mainly requires into the reform in sense of education, teaching method, learning method and so forth. In addition, it makes a summary and an introspection about how to construct a teaching process in which both teachers and students teach and learn from each other, and how to provide a teaching environment where students can be led to take an active part in class activities.
