Self-determination---Interaction,Cooperation-Search is undoubtedly the most importantdemand of the eighth basic education course reforms . This implementation in the classroomof demand is rather complicated, and it must find the practical operation design. Thediscussion for method is to carry out one of the effective designs of this thought. This article has carried on the following work mainly: â‘ Firstly, it states the traditionalclassroom-instruction situation in our country, then uses pedagogy, psychology, scientificmethodology about knowledge to discuss method probing into functions, terms of theteaching and carrying application on theory and practice probing into tentatively at themeaning in science. â‘¡Secondly, carries on exhaustive exposition to characteristic, distinctiveadvantages, design concepts, design principle and carrying-out conditions and tactics of everystages to discuss method. â‘¢Thirdly, examines science and effectiveness to discuss method inthe teaching practice. Practice makes perfect. The method for discussion can provide the studentswith language context an opportunity, can help students transfer their languageknowledge and skills into communicative competence in language practice. It alsomakes students active in discussion and in stating their opinions. From thispoint of view, the method for discussion has great influence on students'intellectual factors and emotional ones, particularly in opening up studentsa creative sphere, all these become important elements in the carrying out ofin discussion method. The method for discussion suits the chemical teachingreality of middle school, and it can also play an important role of positivepromotion in developing student's scientific accomplishment. All in all, it is proved that the method for discussion suits the chemicalteaching reality of middle school, and it can also play an important role ofpositive promotion in developing students' scientific accomplishment.
