Through comparing with four different reward-rules, the present paper discussed the difference of creative thinking among the pupils in Grade Five in a primary school. This study also explored the relationship between reward-expectation and creative thinking. The results revealed:(1) For the score of creative thinking, there was significant main effect on reward-value and reward-proportion. In detail, the score of creative thinking in the high reward-value was higher than the score in low reward-value. And the score of creative thinking in the large reward-proportion was higher than the score in the small reward-proportion. So were fluency and originality.(2) For the score of flexibility, there was significant interaction between reward-value and reward-proportion.(3) For the score of delicacy, there was main effect on reward-value. The score of delicacy in the high reward-value was higher than the score in the low reward-value.(4) For the score of reward-expectation, there was significant main effect on reward-value and reward-proportion. It means that the score of reward-expectation in high reward-value was higher than the score in the low reward-value. Furthermore, the score of reward-expectation in the large reward-proportion was higher than the score in the small reward-proportion.(5) There was very positive correlation between reward-expectation and creative thinking. Among the dimensions of creative thinking, the fluency, originality, flexibility and delicacy had very positive correlation with reward-expectation.(6) There was no significant difference on score of reward-expectation in gender, so were creative thinking and four dimensions.(7) Under the reward-rule in the paper, the difference on creative thinking was due to the state of subject's reward-expectation. It means the reward-rule influenced creative thinking through the state of subject's reward-expectation.
