Peer counseling is a new approach in school mental health education. It is easy to conduct, easy to use, and fast to effect. peer counseling have great significance in mental health education in China. The process of peer counseling happened betweens pees. It is dependent on confidence between peers. The helper and helped can set up a beneficial interaction and have empathy in the affection and thinking of each other. Thereafter, peer counseling can promote students' emotional and social development, and can enhance the effect of mental health education in school.The current research is in great significances for future practices of mental health education in school. It provides a new approach by using peer counseling techniques. Positive outcomes will be achieved in several domains: student's moral development, student's mental literacy, student's peer relationships etc.Multi-methods were used in current research. Self-help rules were used as a guidance in this research and developmental features of students was considered. The object of current research was to explore possible forms in peer counseling.Four main domains were included: First, the basic concept, implication and characteristics of peer counseling were reviewed. Second, the efficiency, theoretical ground and eagerness in reality was analyzed. Third, possible forms of peer counseling were explored. Last, a systematic suggestion on how to construct peer counseling was provided.
