Humanism And Composition Teaching

Humanism is the essence of the composition teaching and Chinese teaching. Chinese is one subject of education, and its target is human. Therefore we should pay more attention to the world of hearts and spirits of the human beings. Meanwhile, the composition is not static state about language, but the dynamic state about how to use language. It is the reflection of individual mentality and the human beings' willingness, request, sense, judgment, and imagination. It can pour out one's heart and realize the value of lives, aimed at liberating the thought, spirit and the style of writing. We should encourage the students' creations and vitality. But in fact, lacking of living experience leads to the mediocre composition for the students, and unscientific guide fetter the students' thought. Therefore, we should set up the idea of "Basing On the Humanity", establish the scientific composition training system, and develop the students' reading ability. Thus, we can combine the knowledge and practice. Moreover, we should develop the personality and creation of students, and arouse the enthusiasm to writing. Our model teaching is serious for a long period of time. The teachers prefer teaching methods, that is, teaching students how to deal with different kinds of compositions to considering about students' real feelings, and ignore the differences among the students. I think that a composition needs creation. It can help students express their emotions. I believe when we put the humanism into the composition teaching, the compositions will be home to the students' spirits.
