The further development of market economy has given rise to the problem of employment and unemployment. With the increase of the college graduates and the expansion of colleges and universities, the undergraduates' employment becomes a sever challenge a problem of common interest. The author attempts to make a systematic study and propose the strategies and solutions to the problem.This thesis begins with the definition of the undergraduates' low employment by describing its background information and the characteristics. The thesis expounds the main causes of the undergraduates' low employment on the basis of Marxist study methods, the theory of supply and demand and the theory of unemployment in the western economics, the actual background of current society and the economic development in our country and the characteristics of undergraduates' as a whole. The thesis also analyzes the background of labor force's supply and demand, the establishment of speciality in colleges and universities, the monopoly of industry and social relationship capital, the breakup of labor force's market and the lack of undergraduates' nucleus competitive force.The thesis investigates dialectically the double influence by the undergraduates' low employment: the positive influence by the adjustment of industrial structure, the improvement of undergraduates' comprehensive quality and the development of marketization of higher education, and the negative influence by the difference between the rich and the poor over the social stability, and of resources waste and the obstacle of education development.The countermeasures constructive to the low employment are proposed in the thesis by the analysis of the undergraduates' supply and demand, employment...
