In recent years,the social demands for the quality of higher education continue to rise.In this paper,the employment quality of college graduates is introduced to judge the quality of higher education,and the employment quality of universities in Jiangsu Province is explored.This thesis is based on the questionnaire survey data on the employment status of 2015 session college graduates in Jiangsu Province.First,a brief overview of the survey is conducted.Then,according to the connotation of employment quality and the emperience of some employment teachers,7 first-level indicators and 17 secondary indicators are selected to structure the evaluation index system of employment quality.Scores of indicators are got according to the survey of the importance of them.Then based on the R language,the average calculation method and analytic hierarchy process are used to calculate the weight according to the scores of indicators.And factor analysis is used to calculate the weight based on indicator values.The employment quality index of each university is calculated by simple linear weighting method under these three methods,and universities are sorted by their indices.Finally,indicator structure is adjusted to recalculate the employment quality with factor analysis.According to the employment quality indices,11 universities of "211" are divided into three categories by cluster analysis method.Among them,the employment quality of Southeast University is higher and China University of Mining and Technology,Nanjing Agricultural University and Suzhou University are not good.The clear show of the advantages and disadvantages of the school indicators by the radar map helps universities to improve the employment work pertinently.Finally,the thesis puts forward some detailed advice on the improvement of employment for seven first-level indicators,hoping to bring help to the employment work of universities.
