The normal university student is one of important resources and the main force for the development of China's primary education.In theory,the ideal status of normal university graduates' employment should be the balance between supply and demand,high employment rate,professional counterparts,and full employment.In recent years,with the higher education scale expanding unceasingly,the demand of new teachers is decreasing,which is influenced by the fact that the implementation of the national family planning has caused a huge reduction of the basic education student.The demand and supply of the new teachers has been a sharp contradiction already.For Local Normal Universities,in the strong competition with Normal Universities Affiliated to Ministry of Education in China,Co-construction Normal Universities,and Provincial Normal Universities,the graduates' employment is increasingly difficult.The Party has always attached more importance to the young,university students;President Xi Jinping raised high expectations on different occasions for the young,pointed out that the young generation has the ideal and responsibilities,and the country has the future and hope.Nowadays,university students are in their golden period of lives,which matches with our nation's two century goals.It plays an important role for our nation to realize the great goal of the Chinese dream that young college students can work hard and gain abilities,the university can improve the comprehensive capability,the society can create a good macro environment for employment.This paper takes X University as an example,through questionnaire survey and interview on the employment situation of graduates of the university,expounds the problems and experiences,such as the employment structure contradiction,the imbalance between employment ability and employment expectations,the impact of the employment policy,and employment competitiveness improved by the practice education.The writer analyzes the factors affecting employment.First of all,it is because the sharp contradiction between supply and demand of graduates.Secondly,it is because the school personnel training mode,curriculum and classroom teaching reform lags behind the social requirement for graduates.Thirdly,graduates lack of self-cognition and occupation career planning ability.Finally,the author put up some suggestions on how to effectively alleviate the employment problems of graduates from three perspectives,the government,social organizations and universities.For the government and society,they should put some efforts on the employment promotion,business guide,and the grass-roots growth to promote multi-channel employment.What's more,they should control the enrollment of Local Normal Universities to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand.For the Local Normal Universities,they should actively reform talent cultivation mode,enhance discipline construction,adjust major structure,improve the practical abilities of students,strengthen and improve the system of employment guidance,and enhance the employability of students.For students,they should do good preparations of the occupation career planning,and they should establish a correct concept combined with the needs of the society,strengthen the comprehensive quality to improve the employment ability.
