Mathematics is an important component of human culture, and it has strong influence on society as a rational and profound culture. At present, mathematics circle has laid widespread stress on mathematics culture (MC) value, and education circle has paid extensive attention to MC view as well. The Ministry of Education recent middle-school mathematics curriculum standard has clearly offered MC teaching in the middle-school stage. Based on analyzing some scholar's MC viewpoint, this paper points out that MC is the entirety of mathematics knowledge system and mathematics view system, emphasizing long and strong effect on human behavior, view, attitude, spirit and so on. MC value expresses many aspects, this paper elaborates it from realization, intellect, spirit and beauty aspects. MC has its special teaching object, this paper explains it from five aspects. After investigating MC teaching status quo, I deeply feel that MC teaching didn't genuinely execute in actually teaching. Many factors cause the condition, this paper analyzes them from teacher, teaching material and teaching environment aspects. In order to effectively carrying out MC teaching, this paper states its tactics from five aspects. Finally, this paper mentions that mathematics teaching is combination of mathematics knowledge teaching and MC teaching, and we should expand MC teaching in the middle-school stage.
