Guiding the students to concern global problem and important geography problems in our country's reform and modernization, expanding the science spirit and humanity spirit, educating creative consciousness and practice ability, strengthening social sense of responsibility, enhancing the idea of sustainable development in the coordination of population, resources, environment, and society, are the tasks of the geography in high school given by our time, in which the emotion attitude and the opinion of value as one of the targets of the high school geography course serve as an important role.This paper is based on the reforms outline of the elementary education, under the guidance of the theory of full development of human of Marxism, the idea of 'consistency of knowing, emotion, volition and action' in pedagogy, Cognition Theory in psychology, education psychology, geography teaching target theory, geography teaching evaluation theory and geography sustainable development idea, with Marxist philosophy for foundation. It adopted method of comparing study, literature heritage, synthesized analyzing, induction, investigation etc, and carried out a research in nature combined with a mathematic way. It includes the following five parts: the meaning and theoretical foundation of emotion attitude and the opinion of value; the international comparison of emotion attitude and the opinion of value in the high school geography course targets; the cultivating strategies of geography emotion attitude and the opinion of value; the research on teaching cases of geography emotion attitude and the opinion of value; the evaluation of emotion attitude and the opinion of value.On the present stage, many important achievements have been obtained in this field, but there are still some problems, for instance, the theory system remains unestablished; the implement of courses need more attention; the course evaluation practice is not enough and practicing research needs deepening etc.
