The Study On Adult Higher Education Total Quality Management In Universities Or Colleges Of China

Quality is the lifeline of adult higher education in universities or colleges. Adult higher education in universities or colleges of China must establish the quality-based idea in the new century. In order to carry out the idea, we can try to introduce the idea and method of total quality management (TQM), which emanates from the quality management of industrial enterprise, into the quality management of adult higher education in universities or colleges. TQM is a new developing style of the theory on quality management in modern stage, it is necessary and feasible for universities or colleges to put TQM into effect, because there are also hiding the principles deeply, such as the emphasis on knowledge and education, concern on the development in an all-round way of people, attention to continuous improvement etc, in the shrine of education.In order to probe into this subject of TQM of adult higher education in universities or colleges systematically and pointedly, I have collected and put a large number of relevant documents in order, and investigated the real state of adult higher education quality management of several universities or colleges in Shandong. Then based on the analysis of the main idea and method of TQM, as well as the theoretical and practical achievements of TQM used in education, combined with the particularity of adult higher education in universities or colleges, I have put forward the key elements of TQM of adult higher education in universities or colleges systematically, namely remarkable lead, customer's satisfaction, process management, continuing improvement, whole involvement and quality management system.
