Recruit students, funding and quality of education are three core elements in the development of colleges and universities, and the quality of education often plays a decisive role in the three elements. At the same time one of the direct embodiments of education quality is the student’s quality, so it’s necessary and urgent for colleges and universities to strengthen the education of quality consciousness and improve the quality level nowadays. For private colleges and universities teaching quality and students’ quality are the sunshine and rain and dew for it’s growth, on the certain of the other condition, only to enhance management efficiency, use the basic conditions of the private colleges to optimize management. Specific to the process of the class management is to establish the correct concept of the students, according to the private college student’s characteristics to establish the class management objectives. To correctly understand the importance of counselors, and in the course of practice, give full play to the counselor’s special role. And it all depends on the realization of science and advanced management ideas and methods and philosophy. Total quality management which used in the education can be a foundation of application in private colleges and universities.Based on the research of private college class management and TQM, as well as under the guidance of education and educational psychology, the paper tries to interpretation the six basic principles of TQM in the process of the class management. Use the TQM theory in the private college class management is to improve the quality of management, establish the correct view of students and the counselors, and use the PDCA ring to achieve the quality in the process of continuous improvement. This paper argues that the students’quality improvement in the higher education is not only to have a high quality of teaching and professional curriculum, the more important thing is to assist students to carry out good self management, let the students experience love and belonging in order to achieve student character formation and all-round development of students,either through extracurricular activities and social practice activity. Only this can make students as consumers satisfied with the school education, make the society as for student services consumers more satisfied, thereby enhancing the confidence of the social and family for today’s education.
