| The basic education of 21century is based on students' all-round development. The ability of language and mathematical logic has been considered the standard for measure a person's intelligence since A.Binet and Simon, two psychologists in French, proposed the first intelligence measure form in 1905. Obviously, such a view of the traditional intelligences has ignored other important abilities. So traditional intelligences theory hasn't accommodated to demand of education development. The theory of multiple intelligences has been given more attention, which is put forward by Professor Gardner, psychologist in U.S.A. It has been regarded as an important directorate idea of educational reformation. The theory of multiple intelligences thinks there are nine relative mentalities in the individual independently. They are verbal-linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intra-personal intelligence, musical-rhythmic intelligence, naturalist intelligence, existential intelligence. The nine particular intelligences emphasize that the intelligence should be practiced in the practice and can be influenced by environment and education. However the method, which is used to looking on multiple intelligences in many dimensions is put importance on by the theory of multiple intelligences itself. The nurture and development of students' ability in all directions has been put the first place in basic education in our country, so the theory of multiple intelligences is needed in basic education. So ,it is necessary to make the theory of multiple intelligences and the new student's evaluation together. The theory of multiple intelligences pays close attention to letting students learn more ways, it is one kind theory to help student's development in an all-round way and create success. First, the guideline of evaluation is changed from choose the suitable children to choose the education which is suitable for children. Second, the function of evaluation is laid particular emphasis on screening to lay particular emphasis on developing. Third, the content of evaluation is transferred to be multiple. Fourth, the attention of evaluation is transferred from result of valuing to the course of emphasizing. The fifth, the subject of evaluation is transferred to be multiple. The sixth, the method of evaluation is transferred to true evaluation and situational evaluation. The seventh, the evaluation encourage students to cooperate. The theory of multiple intelligences has offered enough development space for everybody's ideal life, and offered more beneficial thinking space for education and evaluation too.
