Comparing methods and factoring analysis methods are used to analyze the American higher education accreditation symmetrically in this paper. The thesis commences from some important concepts that have something to do with research, tracing back to the background of the higher education accreditation of the United States with history origin and development, using factoring analysis method to make a detailed description from the aspects of purpose, motive, classification, accreditation process of the present condition of the higher education accreditation of the United States, deeply analyzing the characteristics, function, problem, trends of the higher education accreditation of the United States .Finally, taking the experience of American higher education accreditation combining with China's current evaluating and accreditation situation, the paper discusses some problems encountering our country's higher education accreditation and puts forward some constructive suggestions to meet the international standards.
