Chinese isn't the rational education, but the emotional education, so in order to make students communicate efficiently, the teacher should develop their abilities to grasp and utilize objective, perceptual and aesthetic expressions. Invalid education exists universally and practically in the practice of Chinese reading and the exposition on the Reception Theory and the reading of text at the aspect of theoretical study is fragmentary and marginal. Therefore, it is necessary to positively and systematically expose the acceptance of text, carry on individualized teaching based on the difference of individuality, and break through the barrier between teaching and leaning. Reception Theory, which stresses readers' role in the course of text reading, thinks that text is only a pile of meaningless and false codes before being accepted by readers. It can only be called 'text' before being read and checked while 'works' after being read and checked. Text will be actually meaningful only when readers make use of their reading expectancy and make 'blank point' specified. The core of construing it is the subjectivity of its constitution and the perception or grasping of the cognitive object on the basis of self-consciousness or fore-constitution. The teaching of Chinese reading including understanding and experiencing such conscious activities can never avoid the influence and the control of the theory, so the teaching of Chinese reading must make use of the efficient tool to analyze the content and the meaning of literary works, and then try to make a certain more complete explanation. Reception Theory which deeply studies the course in which readers accept literary works, create not only the skills of elaboration, but the objective elaborated. In theory, it shows irrefutable rationalization: teaching activities should not be the writer's or works' monologue, but the visual fusion which is formed when the teacher with the field of vision of expectancy influenced by the calling structure of text negotiates and communicates with potential writer, which brings about the deeply reform in the teaching of Chinese reading, not only the way of learning, but that of teaching, even the pattern of class design. During the course of writing the article, the writer absorbed some main ideas from Reception Theory, Hermeneutics and Reader Response Criticism, combined with the basic principles of education psychology, collected some typical cases from Chinese class of middle schools, and then presented his own analysis. He also required into new style relationship between students and teacher and the teaching reform, and analyzed the methods of the teaching of Chinese reading in the rational way. From the angle of appraisal, he expounded it necessary to introduce the new institution of the teaching of reading, forecast the prospects of the teaching of Chinese reading under the direction of Reception Theory...
