The relationship between students and teachers is the most important and fundamental human relationship in the process of teaching. Its essence and property has an important influence on the result of educating and teaching. The teacher-student relationship has a notable influence on the physical and mental development of the students. The relationship between students and teachers may be regarded as the breakthrough of education reform. It is necessary for us to study teacher's and student's relationship for deep reform and carrying out quality education. To be based on cooperative learning, this thesis initially discusses the influence of cooperative learning on the teacher-student relationship to restructure new teacher-student relationship.There are five parts in the thesis.Part one: Background of the research. In this part, the author expounds briefly the related situation, the current results, and the direction of the research into the relationship between students and teachers and cooperative learning.Part two: Related theories. In this part, the author discusses the concepts, the types, and the theoretical bases of the relationship between students and teachers and the cooperative learning.Part three: Investigation of the present of teacher-student relationship. It is the first part of the thesis' body and investigates the present of the relationship between students and teachers by papers. The author mainly discusses the problems of the present teacher-student relationship; analyses the causes of these problems and bring forward the strategy of restructuring the relationship between students and teachers.Part four: Experimental research of cooperative learning. It is the second part of the thesis' body. The author puts the cooperative learning into practice in the experimental class, and carries out the new teacher-student relationship. At last, it is proved that cooperative learning can improve the teacher-student relationship and the effect of teaching.Part five: Self-examination. In this part, the author thinks the process of research deeply and makes a conclusion: Cooperative learning is a strategy that can improve the relationship between students and teachers effectively. Through cooperative learning, teachers and students can make a new type cooperative relationship.
