In the 21~st century our society is one full of information. The coming of information lays stress on knowledge and the relation between life and knowledge. Human beings must know how to live and how to study. "Learn to live and learn to study" becomes a basic living style. The reform of educational course requires that peoples should study all their life. It says like this: Students used to learn somethings by heart. They thought what their teachers told them was right. But now the reform initiate students to be active in class and be willing to study. Teachers should cultivate students how to collect information and deal with them, how to obtain knowledge and analyse and solve problems. The reform requires teachers to teach the students the ability of communicating with people and cooperating with people. In a word, teachers should build up a new type of studying method—Self-study, Co-operate, Inquiry. As is known, the studying method is largely affected by teaching methods. Only by changing teaching methods, can students change their studying methods. Now, in the following, I'll discuss how to form a new type of studying method. The following article is made up of four parts.Part One: Introduction. Think about the present Chinese teaching in High School. And Point out what the new type of studying method.Past Two: Creat a self-study teaching method. In this part, I'll set forth the advantages of self-study and how to create the situation of self-study.Part Three: The tactics of inquiry. In this part, I'll introduce the teaching princles of inquiring and ask all the students to inquiring and ask all the students to inquire what you don't understand.Part Four: The tactics of co-operating. In this part, I'll teach students how to co-operate.
