Content:Based on Diagnoses and Tests of Learning Motivation by Mr. Zhou Bucheng from Eastern China Normal University, and on Questionnaire about the Study Situation of the Students from Nanchang Non-governmental Ordinary High Schools made by the thesis's author, the thesis made research about learning motivation, learning attitude, learning habit and learning environment. According to the analysis, we can draw the conclusion that there are some serious problems with the students in Nanchang Non-governmental ordinary high schools. First, the students don't have strong learning motivation, esp. their aspiration, sense of responsibility and self-confidence. Second, they have not formed good learning habits, for example, many students can't follow the teachers in class, while after class, they would like to plagiarize the homework. Third, they lack the consciousness of competition. Fourth, most students want to get good marks to please their parents and teachers, but they can't last for a long time with weak willpower.In author's opinion, in order to solve the problems mentioned above, we should do as follows: First, we can adopt four-year system in high school to lower the degree of difficulty, and help the students strengthen their confidence. Second, we may try to get the students motivated, esp. from view of ideal education and reasons of success and failure. Third, correct their attitude towards study. Fourth, help the students to form the good learning habits, mainly by directing them how to preview before class , review after class, listen to the teachers and take notes by the means of theme class meetings and lectures. Fifth, help the students to form the good study atmosphere.
