In the times of planning economy, there is no relation between talent market and the employment of graduates, but during the smooth advancing of personnel reform, the employment system of graduates has been changed greatly after the implementation of social market economy. The system of two-way choice, individual profession-choosing has progressively replaced the distribution system of graduates. The employment difficulty of graduates mainly results from the apparent independent character of enterprises, the reduction of governmental administrative intervention, the increasing number of graduates, the simplification of government organizations, the enterprises'depletion of staffs to promote efficiency and the sluggish self-reshaping of graduates, in the meantime, the employment market of graduates has obviously turned into buyer's market, and the employment difficulty of graduates has cut a conspicuous figure. During the reforming period, talent market begins to regulate the employment of graduates, and bring its role of disposing human resources into play basically. But the talent market in our country fails to create a favorable employment atmosphere, due to the immaturity of talent market, the incomplete market system, the unclearness of market main body and the obscure understanding towards functioning mechanism, resulting in the situation of monotonous and obstructed employment channel. If a mature talent market would be cultivated as soon as possible in our country, the situation of difficult employment of graduates could be mitigated to a great extent. This passage is based on employment theory, researches on talent market and unsymmetrical theory and so on. Firstly, it analyses the history and current situation on the employment of graduates and talent market in Chongqing and China, and then probes into the relation between the employment of graduates and talent market by the method of positive investigation. It puts forward related countermeasures and the remaining points to be studied in five aspects of government, university, graduate, enterprise and institution of talent market of graduates, based on advanced experiences of developed countries. This passage aims at raising suggestions to consummate the system of talent market of graduates in our country and references for government to draw up related laws regulations and policies by the thorough study on the relation between the employment of graduates and talent market, and make talent market give rein to its role of main channel during the employment of graduates.
