A new round of course reforms aims directly at the following two problems-ways of teaching and learning, for the purpose of changing the past receptive ways of learning with too much emphasis on mere memorizing and mechanical training by encouraging the students' active participation, study and discovery, communication and cooperation and paying more attention to students' experiencing and interest. Look back at our teaching idea, knowledge, way of teaching, and think about what the students are and will be faced today and tomorrow and we teachers' own responsibility, what should we do?The research learning highlighting the new round of course reforms is open,enquiry and practicable, changing the ways of teaching emphasizing on the students' passive learning. It provides new methods, new ways and new ideas for the teachers.This essay focuses on what effect the research learning has on the students' interest in biology teaching, concerning the principles of practice, arrangements of process, guidance and assessment in the process, especially on the practical mode of research learning on biology by means of tables, assessments of results class observations and so on.
