Investigates The Relationship Between The Team Cohesion And The Leadership Behaviours And Leading Abilities In Chinese Basketball Team Of Young Man

Basketball, as an item of competition on the same field, demands perfect team cohesion no matter in drill or match. There are many factors that influence the team cohesion, so Carron (1982) introduced four aspects of factors: leading factor, environment factor, individual factor and team factor. Coach, the originator and builder of the basketball team, becomes its supreme leader. This research, basing on the survey on the individuals of the Chinese Basketball Team of Young Men, investigates the relationship between the team cohesion and the leadership behaviours and leading abilities. On one hand, the research would help the coach improve gumption of the athletes in drill and March by taking effective action, making right decision and deciding encourage methods. On the other hand, it would also provide a way to enhance the cohesion of the basketball team.There are already reports on the researches on the team cohesion in our nation; however, few of them focus on the effect of the coach's caliber.
