The thesis analyses the human factors in the environment worsening according to the ecological crisis and the world public hazards. In order to reach the harmonious development between the human and nature, we must change our attitude to the environment so that we can form good environment-protecting consciousness.After analysing the domestic and international situation of the environmental education, we have found out that the urgent task is to cultivate the infants' environment-protecting consciousness. Based on the principles of infant's pedagogy and infant's psychology ,and according to the demands for the guidelines of the kindergarten education, this thesis puts forward the following solutions to develop the infants' environment-protecting consciousness. First, all the infant teachers should be trained to strengthen their environment-protecting consciousness. Whether we can succeed in educating the infants on the environment-protecting consciousness depends on how much knowledge of environmental protection the infant teachers master and whether they have strong environment-protecting consciousness. Secondly, we should train the kindergarten infants' parents, whose behaviour sets a splendid example to the infants. Finally, we should educate the infants on the environment-protecting consciousness. The emphasis of the thesis is to educate the infants on the environment-protecting consciousness.
