Environment is the foundation of human survival conditions, protecting the environment is an inescapable responsibility for human survival and development."Education is the basic method of environmental protection". Education is the most profound influence of human thought and behavior, the environmental protection education plays an important role in training the human right concept of environmental protection.Environmental education based on life experiences begin during the very earliest years of life. Environmental education based on life experiences should begin during the very earliest years of life. Such experiences play a critical role in shaping life-long attitudes, values, and patterns of behavior toward natural environments. At present, many kindergartens in China have realized the importance of environmental education and carry out the environmental education in different levels.This article aims to study the situation of Preschool education about environmental protection in Wuhan and understand the current status of environmental education in kindergartens. Trying to find its existing problems and influencing factors, combined with Pedagogic, psychology theories. Finally providing relevant suggestions, expecting to provide effective reference to real environmental education in kindergartens.This paper is divided into the following four aspects:The first part is the introduction, within the discussion indicated the purpose of the study. The main contents of this paper are the definition of related concepts. Through access to a large amount of documents, the research sort the situation of current early childhood education, point out the direction for the study of this paper. This paper uses the method of qualitative and quantitative research combined, also using literature method, observation method, interview method, questionnaire survey method to do farther research on early childhood environmental education.The second aspect is the theoretical basis of environmental education in kindergarten, in which the author analyzes the theoretical basis of environmental education from the perspective of psychology and Pedagogy to promote the development of it.Third aspect on the analysis of present situation of environmental education in kindergarten, using the method of qualitative and quantitative research, found that the current kindergarten environmental education has many problems, such as environmental protection education for children has not received enough attention of kindergartens, teachers’awareness of environmental protection is not enough, the lack of relevant environmental education in kindergarten teacher training. Analysis of the main influencing factors are:social environment and national policy of children’s awareness of environmental protection effect, parents influence, leadership and teachers of kindergarten.The fourth aspect is the countermeasure research of kindergarten environmental education. On the basis of the theory of environmental education in kindergarten, finding out the existing problems and analyzes the influence factors on the basis of the kindergarten, looking for the problem in the system from the three aspects of------society, family, kindergarten. The environmental education in kindergarten as the basis, put forward positive suggestions to improve environmental education for kindergarten, and combined with the characteristics of kindergarten environmental education are example illustration.
