| There are some weaknesses and disadvantages in the traditional teaching system of the course which have increasingly harbored and held back the student's creativity and innovative drive. "It is only by bringing into play persons with creativity and innovative ability that China can win out and prosper in the competitive world" . In this connection, it is imperative at the moment to establish and implement a teaching system and program for the basic experiment course of geography science in compliance with multi-intelligence principles, individual differences and personality. A thorough investigation was conducted on the weaknesses disadvantages of the traditional course and the correlation between the course of geography science and the coverage of basic experiment courses of every second-rate subject. By taking advantage of the experience and accomplishment in the field both at home and abroad, a study was made of laboratory instruction system and program concerning the instruction ideology, experimental modules, instruction coverage and methods of the geography science undergraduate course, which proposes an open organic three-fold system on the basis of the first-rate subject for the purpose of standardizing the instruction coverage, reorganizing the student's intellectual structure, raising their innovative ability so that they will meet the requirements of the 21st century. |
