| Under the background of "double new" teaching reform,students are required to become the main body of the class.In the process of high school geography experiment teaching,teachers are mainly responsible for guiding students to carry out learning activities,encouraging students to think independently and improving students’ geographical practice ability through open and exploratory activities.The importance of geography experiment in geography curriculum has been further increased,and it has become an important way to cultivate students’ core quality of geography.It is clearly pointed out in the Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition)that "investigation,experiment and investigation are important research methods of geography and also important learning methods of geography curriculum." Geography experiment can train students’ practical ability,observation ability,analytical judgment and design ability.It is an important way to improve students’ geographical practical ability and scientific literacy,and it has become a highlight of the "double new" education reform.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards,the content related to geographical experiments in the active columns of Geography I in the Lu,Hunan,Chinese and Human education editions is significantly improved compared with the old textbooks.However,according to the author’s teaching experience,the current situation of geography experiment in high school geography courses in Guiyang City is not optimistic.Based on this,the author carries out the following research and draws the conclusion:Through the combination of questionnaire survey method and interview method,this paper investigates the teachers and students of key,ordinary and suburban high schools in Guiyang to understand the current practice of the experimental teaching of geography in Guiyang high schools after the new curriculum reform,and analyzes the existing problems in the experiment of front-line teaching,etc.At present,the implementation of geography experiment teaching in senior high schools in Guiyang city is uneven,there are obvious regional and level differences,teachers and students schools do not pay high attention to geography experiment.The main problems are uneven hardware and software facilities,difficult lesson preparation for teachers,low degree of cooperation among students,insufficient extension of experimental courses,and superficial teaching.In order to promote the geography experiment teaching and improve the effect of geography experiment teaching,the author will analyze the experiments in the first volume of the Geography textbook of Hunan Edition used by Guiyang high school geography,sort out the experiment contents,sort out the experiment types and methods,and associate them with the curriculum standards and knowledge points,so that the experiment can be carried out conveniently and with more purpose.Integrate and summarize scattered experiments to provide reference for front-line teachers and reduce the preparation time of early experiments.At the same time of sorting out the textbook experiment,the author obtains the strategy of high school geography experiment based on the cultivation of geography practical power,including the relationship between geography experiment and geography practical power,the basic principles and methods of high school geography experiment,the construction of ordinary high school geography experiment evaluation system,and the systematic evaluation and testing of students’ learning status.Finally,by integrating the principles of experiment development and evaluation system,combined with the principles of high school students’ geographical practical ability cultivation,taking "Atmospheric Heating Process" and "Water Quality Investigation" in Volume 1 of Geography as examples,the study course of thermodynamic circulation principle and water quality investigation course with experimental exploration as the path were designed,and the related experimental teaching design and experiment report were written.And through the implementation of the curriculum,the basic principles and design concepts of high school geography curriculum experiment design obtained from the previous research and the effectiveness of the designed evaluation system of common high school geography experiment are tested.According to the experimental teaching evaluation system,the relevant content of student achievement test is designed,and the students’ mastery of knowledge before and after experimental learning is compared vertically,and the students’ mastery of applied knowledge and cultivation of core geographical literacy are compared horizontally between experimental courses and non-experimental traditional courses.The conclusion is drawn on the operability and necessity of using experimental teaching in high school geography classroom. |
