Teachers' development is a topic of vital importance in the world teaching development. The research on teachers' development involves several areas with ways of teachers' development as its focus. Researches from home and abroad on ways of teachers' development indicate that PDS school model, school-based in-service teacher training, reflective practice, cooperation learning, case study or research process on teaching plan and so on do contribute to teachers' development. Nevertheless, it is undeniable that doing research is the most practical and effective way for teachers' development, though the systematic research in this field is rare from home and abroad.The following research, based an analysis of literature review and personal research, adopts a methodology combined individual narrative analysis with theory analysis to construct an analytic system of teachers' development based on research. Individual narrative analysis is employed, according to the analytic system to analyze how teachers develop in the practice of research synthetically and to generalize diverse ways for different teachers, thus to construct a model for teachers' development based on research. Influential factors emerging during teachers' development are analyzed in order to develop an effective supporting system.This paper considers research, to be more exactly, teaching research, as a strategy specialized in teachers' development.
