With the development of the information economy, the education of our country is facing brand-new challenges and opportunities. The information economy has made great impact on the cultural industry and the Hi-Tech industry, which sprang up on 50^th age to 60^th age of 20^th century and began to flourish on 80^th of 20^th century. They have become the most prospective industries. The development of the cultural and Hi-Tech industries drives the construction of campus. Especially for the building, expanding build and rebuilding of the college campus, it has become the hot topic in the architecture field. Now we have so many programs and new ideas about the construction of campus. But also there are some experiences and lessons of it need us to discuss and sum up.A college is a basis to cultivate some creative and capable persons. As a main element of college, the campus environment plays an important role in college education. It is a kind of synthesized education power and a special classroom to affect students and to build up students' characters. That's why that Marx said:" Human being creates environment. Environment creates human being." But in some earlier construction of college campus, we paid little attention to the construction of the campus environment. Without a sound campus environment, we lost the active effect that it made. After coming forth the concept of habitat environment, we get to know the importance of environment. Also, theconstruction of campus environment becomes one of the focuses in the construction of college. We are focus on how to make an active humanized and sustainable environment to satisfy students 'demands and their campus life.Deficiencies exist in the theory system and theory instruction of college campus construction both inland and on broad. It needs to improve and complete continuously. With more and more concerns from many fields to the environment construction on campus, some ideas, concepts and theses on the campus environment designs come out, such as ecotypic campus, sustainable campus, delicate campus. Some of the ideas are valuable to the space design of campus environment.This thesis begins with the analysis of the course of campus development both inland and on broad. According to the analysis, it sums up the direction of campus construction nowadays and in the future that to attach importance to campus environment construction. Then it expatiates the significance of environment, especially of the campus environment. It points out that a humanized campus environment is very helpful to achieve the goal of education. And then it expatiates the concept of humanized environment and analyses the psychological demands about environment of the main body of campus. The last section of this thesis focuses on the space design of humanized environment, which is the key-point of this thesis.I hope this thesis can offer some academic basis for charting the direction of campus environment construction and can provide a free, abundant, comfortable, changeful and humanized campus environment for the campus space user.
